Born on January 11, 1990, Mark Wood is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast bowler who plays for the England cricket team and represents the Durham cricket club in domestic cricket. He made his international Test debut, One Day International debut, and T20 International debut in 2015. As of 2021, Wood has played 95 international matches. He was part of the England squad in the 2019 World Cup. In September 2021, he was included in England’s squad for the 2021 Men’s T20 World Cup. He made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut in 2018 and played for Chennai Super Kings. He is a teetotaler and a supporter of the Labour Party.
